One project that we can be thinking about for the garden is the bug hotel. This is part of the biodiversity topic in the action plan, this would be easy to do as we could create it by building a pile of logs.

In response to James's comment regarding recycling bins i believe it would be a good idea to place these near to already existing waste bins and ensure they are clearly labeled. Personaly i believe that a few of the major reasons for people not placing recycling in the appropriate bins is the absence of knowledge of their location and that people are unsure of which items go where.

One of the points from our action plan which i believe would be easy to adress is a survey of wether energy efficient light bulbs are used and if not then where not this would be relatively easy to acomplish with a few of us taking a tick list and walking around the school checking of which rooms do and do not.

An idea i had which i feel may be appropriate for the biodiversity section of the action plan is that we could complete a small scale biological survey on the school grounds to catalogue the local wildlife. We could then publish our results on the website so others could see.
