Please post any suggestions you have for wet / cold weather activites we can be doing during the cold weat January /  February weather. The ground is too hard and cold for planting and the weather too chilly, with the dark afternoons making outdoor work impossible at this time of year. We need to be thinking about eco-friendly or EcoSchools relevent things we can be doing during this time - post your ideas below.

Its time we did some practical work as a reward for all the EcoSchools paperwork!

After half term we are going to make some bird feeders in the form of fat balls - seeds in lard.

This is highly nutrious and will help the local birds make it through what is looking to be a long cold winter.

PLEASE COLLECT EMPTY YOGURT POTS AND BRING THEM INTO SCHOOL - THEY WILL BE THE MOLDS FOR THE FAT BALLS

Any more suggestions of projects we can do on a cold Thursday afternoon? Get typing below!
