I think it may be worth placing a notification somewhere central in the school so that people realise that hedgehog conservation is a goal of the ecogarden and that they are in fact endangered. A major issue seems to be that not enough people know that the hedgehog is endangered and hence little is done by individuals to prevent them from dying out. Im sure that if more people knew, they would at least check their bonfire piles before they light them.
